Step 1
At your initial consultation, we will examine your teeth and carry out a full assessment, including taking photographs with an intraoral camera. We will also take a 3D scan of your teeth using our digital iTero scanner, an advanced piece of equipment which captures precise images. We will create a bespoke treatment plan and discuss it in detail to ensure you are happy with the plan and predicted outcome.
Step 2
Your custom-made clear aligners will be fitted for you by our Invisalign specialist. You will wear a different aligner every two to three weeks to gradually move the position of your teeth.
Step 3
You will see your Invisalign specialist on a regular basis to ensure your treatment is going as planned and to provide support if necessary. This involves quite a few appointments but the end result is worth the time taken. In order for Invisalign to be completely effective, you will need to be committed to wearing your clear aligners for up to 22 hours per day.
Step 4
Treatment times vary depending on each individual patient, but most cases are completed in 6-18 months. You will receive a final retainer on completion of your treatment to help maintain your new straighter smile.Frequently Asked Questions

Straightforward cases have a faster treatment time, whilst patients needing more complex straightening can expect to wear their aligners for longer. Yes, you will need to wear retainers to keep your teeth in their new positions following your Invisalign treatment. Teeth have a habit of moving out of place, so you will need to wear retainers on a part time basis (usually overnight) for as long as you wish your teeth to stay straight. You will be given fixed or removable retainers.
